May 2025

Welcome to our Internship FAQ! Here, you'll find answers to the most common questions about our upcoming program. We've covered everything from application dates and available roles to details about the placement itself, including dates, payment, remote work options, and requirements. Please read through carefully to get all the information you need before applying.

When are applications open?

Applications are open from Monday 5th May 2025. Closing date will be Friday 23rd May 2025 at midnight (BST). All candidates will be updated on their application by Friday 20th June 2025

What are the dates for your internship?

The placement is for 4 weeks: Monday 4th August - Friday 29th August 2025.

What roles are available?

3D Animation, Production and within the Digital team.

What will I be working on?

Our interns will be working very closely with a mentor on different productions/teams within the studio. We will be able to share more details on this if you’re invited to interview with us.

Can the placement be fully remote?

Not fully remote, no. Our internship opportunities can either be full time at our Camden studio, or in a hybrid capacity - but we do require you to be in our studio at least twice a week.

Do you offer sponsorship for these opportunities?

We are unable to offer Visa sponsorship for these opportunities. As the successful applicants will be working from our London studio, we will need the correct and up to date Right To Work documentation for the UK.

Is it a paid Placement?

Yes, this will be a paid placement. Each internship will be paid the London Living Wage of £520 a week.

What are the requirements?

To be considered, candidates need to be 18 or over with no industry experience. This would include previous internship experience as we count this as previous work experience.

What is classed as industry experience?

Any work experience within the animation industry that was paid. If you’ve done voluntary work experience, please state this clearly in your CV so we don’t discount your application.

What do you look for in a reel?

We put together a blog post that highlights what we look for in a reel/portfolio:

What Makes A Great Job Application!

Will there be any opportunities after the internship?

This is dependent on what suitable opportunities we have available. We have welcomed back previous interns to work on our productions so, even if there aren't any suitable opportunities after the internship, we do keep in touch.

If my application is unsuccessful, can you provide feedback on my portfolio/reel?

Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are unable to provide specific feedback at this stage.

When giving feedback we want to make sure it is as clear, effective and helpful as we can make it, which is why we would not want to rush critiques or advice. We would recommend you come visit us at the many festivals and recruitment events we attend across the UK and Europe, at these events we can view your showreel and portfolio and advise on the best way to improve it.

All information on what events we will be attending will be advertised on our social media platforms.
