Presenting to 7 colleges around the UK via live stream from the studio. What could go wrong?
NextGen live stream presentation
As part of our educational outreach programme, Tom and Ben took the risky decision to present live via YouTube to 7 NextGen colleges around the UK - and thankfully technology didn't let us down! The session was a great success and will hopefully be the first of many knowledge sharing sessions in this format.
The students involved are all studying NextGen Skills Academy Level 3 Diplomas in Games, VFX & Animation, and the colleges were spread across the UK from Truro to Sunderland. The presentation included an exclusive screening of our BAFTA nominated short 'Mamoon', and Ben chatted in-depth about how it was made. Following the talk, we also did a live Q&A, so students were able to interact and ask questions.
I want to really thank you for the event yesterday, it was absolutely incredible. Really well structured, high-quality information and a thoroughly enjoyable film, thank you so much! The students absolutely loved it as well! Matthew Hall, NextGen lecturer, Sunderland College
